NEW YORK --Two more victims of the Sept. 11 attacks have been identified from the thousands of human remains that have been retested in recent months, city officials announced.

The names were not immediately released, but they were collected in the "initial recovery effort" in the first year following the 2001 collapse of the World Trade Center, said Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for Dr. Charles Hirsch, the chief medical examiner.

Borakove would not say exactly where they were found. She said Monday that the new identifications had been made in the past week.

The city has been storing more than 10,000 unidentified bone fragments and other human remains, including more than 1,200 found since 2005.

2. Why do they always have to keep everything so secret - like she "would
not say where they were found." Does it make them feel especially powerful to keep information to themselves?

4. I don't have a lot of problems with this...
If one of my relatives were among the missing, I would hate for a report like this to give me hope that my relative were found because of some info released, like the location of the remains, only to find out it wasn't them.

These kinds of announcements should remain private, pending notification of next of kin.

3. Two more "known" victims of the Bush Administration!
This makes my blood boil! They should be added to the victims of the so called "war on terror" as they are victims of the same. albeit before the declaration of this obscenity!
