LUKoil to Return to Iraq
LUKoil President Vaghit Alekperov and head of Iraq's US-appointed interim Governing Council Abdel Aziz al-Hakim have discussed participation of the Russian oil giant in developing the West-Kurna-2 field in Iraq, according to the LUKoil press service.

The Iraqi official said the implementation of a corresponding agreement on developing the field had been suspended by Saddam Hussein's administration, and in order to resume it "we should hold talks and discuss this issue anew". He noted that Iraq had nothing against LUKoil participating in developing the oil field.

1. What about Bush's punishment of Russia?
They didn't back us to the hilt in Iraq, remember?

Aren't they now part of the Axis of the Very Naughty?

I'm a Patriotic American, dammit, and I demand my 454 grams of flesh!

My Wise and Courageous Leader shall not be mocked!
