Deal Set to End CP Rail Track Workers Strike
Wed Jun 6, 2007 11:04 PM BST163

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Reuters) - Canadian Pacific Railway (CP.TO: Quote, Profile , Research) and the union representing its Canadian track workers said on Wednesday they have reached a tentative three-year deal to end a strike that began in mid-May.

The two sides said the 3,200 workers who maintain track, bridges and structures could be back to work "over the next few days" with the Teamsters Union agreeing to take down picket lines during the ratification vote.
