3. I will miss him....
he was a great actor and a very good musician. I first met him when I was 16. He was very interesting and very nice to a bunch of teenagers. That was a long time ago but I always followed his career because he was so nice to us.

4. I hope he has a gentle journey.
Edited on Thu Dec-13-07 07:33 PM by melody
He was Ten Bears in Dances with Wolves, Albert Hosteen on the X-Files, and One Who Waits on Northern Exposure, as well as appearing in tons of other movies and TV series. He was an excellent actor and musician. He was a Sisseton from the Lakota Nation. He was very active with the AIM. And my friend Robin said he was a good and gentle man as well.

20. may I join you in wishing him to be home safe.
But is there anything such as one eighth Native american?

You are of the people or you are not. I am told I am German, French Scotch and Irish. But that is a lie.

I am someone who has never forgotten the prairie fires and story telling and the web of life.

And all the things my inner soul knows that there was no way I could have known by being a young child playing in the alley ways of Chicago.

My husband says he is one eight Ute. I tell him what I just told you.
