US rejects Chavez call to remove FARC terror group label
Source: AFP

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Washington rejected Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's call for the international community to stop branding Colombia's Marxist rebels terrorists, amid news of the leftists' apparent seizure of six more hostages Monday.

"You'll excuse me if we don't take that advice," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said.

"Look, they earned their way on to the terrorism list," McCormack said, noting that FARC continues to hold many hostages, including three Americans, despite their release of two Colombian politicians last week.

"If there is any reason whatsoever to take a group off the terrorism list, then that's done," McCormack said. "But I'm not aware of any substantial change in a pattern of behavior by the FARC that would merit their being taken off the list."

1. The three Americans "held hostage"...
...are mercenaries working for Dyncorps whose poison-spraying plane was shot down by rebels. Tough luck, guys.

2. State Department Sean McCormack takes the entire country for fools.
In his realm government people make moves toward other countries the American public doesn't know about for 10, 15, 20, 30 years, or even longer, so they imagine they'll always get by with it.

What he doesn't realize is that in the U.S., just as in Central and South America, people are starting to have a much sharper, more complete memory now of what has already happened, and we're all starting to see the larger picture, to recognize the pattern they keep using time after time after time in destabilizing governments and wiping out the leftists and potential supporters of "leftists."

They've been able to kill off all the opposition, and scare the rest of the dissenting citizens so badly they don't dare speak out all over the Western Hemisphere. They've reinforced it with torture and mass murder starting a very long time ago, carried out by men trained right here in the U.S. in countries led by right-wing assholes the right-wing U.S. Presidents put in power.

They've enjoyed an iron-fisted seizure of all these countries with very little backlash all this time because they simply got brutal fast, and stayed brutal through every means possible, while smiling sweetly for the U.S. public and dragging their asses into church to make sure we all see their church-going photo ops and praise them for their piety. In the meantime, their School of the Americas graduates are leading death squads to assassinate people like Bishop Romero, leading his congregation in Mass, after he made a direct appeal to them to stop killing the villagers, to stop making war on their countrymen.

Truly enough to make the saints weep, and a maggot gag.

"Terrorists," are they? Why is it they call the paramilitaries who do the work the military can't afford to be seen doing, (sometimes while the military guards the area and won't let anyone in or out while they massacre the whole town) the "death squads?" How DID the right-wing paras get that evil name, and not the rebels? You really have to wonder.
