(Washington) State senator seeks to impeach Bush, Cheney
Source: AP

A Washington state senator has introduced a resolution in that state's legislature to ask Congress to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

A hearing on the measure offered by Eric Oemig (OH'-mig) is scheduled for Thursday in a Washington state Senate committee.

Oemig had little support last year for a similar resolution.

1. And if it passes,
I'm sure that Congress will get right on it.

3. No.
My guess (hope?) is that most folks can figure that out for themselves. I won't lose any sleep if they can't.

8. A lot of state legislatures have passed resolutions on impeachment
Doesn't matter... US Congress continues to ignore it.

4. Washington State
The Washington state Democratic party had a presidential poll on their website and Dennis Kucinich won it. But that wasn't the outcome they don't want to talk about it. With the understanding that the only resolution presented for impeachment was written by Dennis and the Democratic party isn't happy with him, I'm betting Mr. Oemig will get the cold shoulder. But all due praise for the backbone to stand for his principles and his constituents without consideration for his political career.

9. The Dike Could Break At Any Time
Kucinich nearly got on teevee to utter "that word" in the presence of Hillabamawards.

It would have been fun comparing Ralph Kramden impersonations ("hummuna ... hummuna...").
