NARAL endorses Barack Obama for President

Democrat Barack Obama has won the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice America, a leading abortion rights advocacy organization that has supported rival Hillary Rodham Clinton throughout her political career.

The organization was set to announce the endorsement of its political action committee on Wednesday.

"Pro-choice Americans have been fortunate to have two strong pro-choice candidates in Senator Obama and Senator Clinton, both of whom have inspired millions of new voters to participate in this historic presidential race," NARAL president Nancy Keenan said in a statement. "Today, we are proud to put our organization's grass-roots and political support behind the pro-choice candidate whom we believe will secure the Democratic nomination and advance to the general election. That candidate is Senator Obama."

In future town hall meetings, fund raisers, etc. John McBush will say that he prefers Supreme Court justices who are "strict constructionists", the translation of that means HE PREFERS JUSTICES WHO WANT TO REPEAL ROE V. WADE.....

Think about this, as far right as Bush is, even he thought this country wasn't ready to ban abortions...Well, his clone, McBush is even further right than he, as he clearly wants Roe V. Wade overturned......

I don't think the NARAL endorsement is for sale. If it is, give me some evidence.

This is a coup for Obama after all of Clinton's "experience" working with women's organizations in the past. It's a "wow". A McCain court, plus the Bushites members (that the Democrats barely challenged, shame, shame) would be the end of Roe v Wade and many other rights for us.
