Obama makes it to the beach

Senator Barack Obama spent much of his day with his wife and children even taking time to enjoy a picnic at Magic Island. But before burgers and fries, the presidential candidate played a little basketball at his alma mater. Obama started his Tuesday with a trip to Punahou School, where he wore the buff-n-blue. Friends say it is important for Obama to experience private time.

"It is every challenging. But I think by and large the people of Hawaii have been very respectful of his privacy of the time that he needs to kind of relax and sort of get it together before his very important convention next week in Denver Colorado," said Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann.

From there it was trip down to Auahi Street where Obama made a stop at Kua Aina Burger.

"It was very exciting we're so glad we picked here to eat," said Liz Kato. "We just saw the 44th -- future 44th president of the United States."

"I was told -- but I was told to keep it secret of course," said Bryan Botelho of Kua Aina Burger.

Inside Obama made quite an impression....

"Very approachable --very relaxed - hard to say a regular guy but that's what he comes off as," said Botelho.

5. Kua Aina burgers are exotic
and elitist because you can choose what kind of cheese you want and you can even get a burger with an avocado on it! Whoever heard of such a thing? Cheese on your burger should always be AMERICAN and what the hell is an avocado? How's that?
