Obama Leads 50% to 42% in Pennsylvania
Source: Rasmussen Reports

Barack Obama continues to widen his lead over John McCain in Pennsylvania, where the Democrat is now ahead 50% to 42% in the latest Fox News/Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state.

Just three days ago Obama was ahead by four. Two weeks ago the race was tied in the Keystone State.

Three percent (3%) of Pennsylvania voters support Green Party candidate Ralph Nader, and two percent (2%) back Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr. That is the highest level of third party support found in any battleground state.

Republicans have viewed Pennsylvania, with its 21 Electoral College votes, as a traditionally Democratic state that might swing into the McCain column, but the continuing economic turmoil is hurting the GOP candidate here as it is elsewhere around the country.

1. So why did that clown Chuck Todd say that PA had moved into the 'tossup' category?

8. If one candidate is seen as running away with it, why would anyone bother to watch tv about it?

7. The silver lining is more of us will focus on PA and we'll donate more.
There is a strategic advantage to believing it's a close race.

12. Todd was saying Obama does not connect well with Blue Collar (white) in Pennsylvania.
I am convinced the talking heads will say anything just to create tension even if it has to border or imply on pure racism.

22. I think it may be true.
It seems to be the problem in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. They are strange states. They are above the Mason-Dixon line, but there seems to be an undercurrent of racism there just the same. My recollection is that Hillary won these states, and not everyone who voted for Hillary will vote for Obama.

Some are going to vote for McCain, and just aren't going to admit it in public.

19. I just tried to email Tweety and give him the poll
numbers so he can stop with the misleading information he is giving out. Obviously his network doesn't want you to contact him because I could find no email address for him on their website. They just want a horserace and they will say anything. Also, they're afraid if the pugs do get in by stealing it again they won't get access which is more important to them than giving the true information to the public.

20. Not in York County
That will always be republican county, unfortunately. I heard the York Dispatch said that something like 70+% of viewers in the county thought McSame won the debate, so what does that tell you?
