Yellowstone Club files for bankruptcy
Source: Great Falls Tribune

BIG SKY — The private ski and golf club for the mega rich, The Yellowstone Club, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Montana in Butte on Monday.


The filings include Yellowstone Development, which estimates assets of $500 million to $1 billion and liabilities of $100 million to $500 million; Big Sky Ridge, with estimated assets of $100 million to $500 million and estimated liabilities of the same amount; Yellowstone Club Construction Co., with estimated assets for $50,000 or less and estimated liabilities of $500,000 to $1 million; and the Yellowstone Mountain Club, with estimated assets of $100 million to $500 million and liabilities of the same amount.

2. The first sign of the idle rich. They allow non-resident memberships, then it's all down hill...
Here in the Phoenix area, many "Exclusive" golf course that were previously membership by who lived inside the gates, are now offering "once in a lifetime" opportunities for the unwashed masses to buy into memberships.

Guess the fairways are getting a bit light for use.

my cousin & his friends worked there, they didn't allow the workers to ski, because they wanted to have fresh tracks for the guests..

13. I second that!
We have an area in Kansas City that is miles of urban sprawl and it was out of control years ago.
It just made me sick to my stomach to see it happen and now those houses will be empty and the eco-system ruined. Disgusting.
