Sheriff: Man killed wife, son, then himself (said he had financial problems)
Source: CNN

(CNN) — An unemployed Ohio roofer who told a sheriff’s dispatcher he was
having money problems strangled his wife and their 11-year-old son before
shooting himself, a sheriff told CNN Thursday.

Theodore Bayly, 39, strangled his wife, Janice, and their 11-year-old
son, Colton, with electrical cords early Wednesday morning and then called the
sheriff’s office to report the crimes, Noble County Sheriff Landon Smith told
CNN.

In the seven-minute call, which occurred around 2 a.m., Bayly told the
sheriff’s dispatcher he was going to kill himself and said he had financial
problems, Smith said.

Authorities discovered the body of Janice Bayly, 40, inside the family’s
Belle Valley mobile home, and the body of Colton Bayly in the back seat of the
family’s SUV.

2. Ooohhh, strangled them...
Seems more rage-motivated, than helplessness....

Certainly leaves ME depressed, however.

There sure are a lot of men going off the deep end. Why don't they just kill themselves instead of their whole family?

5. I hear that!
A bullet makes noise and a neighbor might actually call for help before he could finish the family off. Wouldn't want to end up in jail now would he!
