One dead in multiple shooting at B.C. nursing home

A multiple shooting at a nursing home in Gibsons, B.C., Tuesday has left at least one dead and two injured, according to reports.

The shooting happened at about 4:40 p.m. local time at an assisted-care facility called Christenson Village.


The facility is run by the Coastal Health Authority and according to its website it has 110 bedrooms for assisted living and private complex car. There are another 30 rooms for dementia patients.

There are unconfirmed reports that a recently evicted woman returned to the facility with a weapon and opened fire.

March-April period nearly every year? Don't know why, but there always seems to be one and usually more of these mass whacko killings in this time frame. First it was the school shooters, then now its the adult whackos!
