The Business ReviewPart of the Capital Region will have to go a couple more weeks before finding out who will represent them in Congress.
Last night’s race between Democrat Scott Murphy and Republican Jim Tedisco remains too close to call. Murphy has a 59-vote edge over Tedisco, with 100 percent of precincts reporting.
Murphy has 77,344 votes, and Tedisco has 77,285 votes, according to unofficial results. The two are competing for the state’s 20th congressional district, which covers part or all of six Capital Region counties.
The seat has been vacant since January, when Kirsten Gillibrand was appointed by Gov. David Paterson to the U.S. Senate.
The tight election will not be decided until April 13, when military and overseas absentee ballots will be counted.

While the mainstream media has been all but asleep on this story, bloggers, especially DKos (
here's their update on the absentee ballot situation), have been providing great coverage of this race. A couple of weeks ago, Tedisco was up by nearly 20 points; now,
the GOP will again try to steal this election using out supine court system.
