Protesters Rally On Wall Street To Ask Government To 'Bail Out The People' - Not Big Business
Source: Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) — Chanting "Whose street? Our street!" hundreds of people rallied on Wall Street Friday to protest the billions of dollars in federal bailout money to big business.

Monica Moorehead, managing editor of the left-leaning newspaper Workers World, said the crowd gathered to protest the capitalist system which helps AIG and other companies that steal money from us.

The crowd was waving signs reading, "No more money for Wall Street."

The protesters were marching in a steady rain behind police barricades and planned to march along Broadway in downtown Manhattan, past the headquarters of American International Group Inc. and several banks that received federal funds to stay afloat. Several of the companies posted security guards outside their entrances.

The march was to end at the iconic bull statue on Wall Street. The crowd planned a second protest on Saturday.

5. When a million people surround Capitol Hill, they might get the message...
People are getting close to the point of having little left to lose, and they look at the billions and trillions of dollars being given out to the richest in our society, ....

Lose your job, lose your house, lose your money, ... what is left?

I don't think there is anything to get white America upset enough to get up off the couch. We should have been past the tipping point along time ago.

6. Jump you fuckers...
They wont stop until they are afraid to leave these buildings. And since our government refuses to hold these criminals accountable, it wont be long before people start taking action on their own.

Hope you feel those little hairs on the backs of your necks standing up Wall Steeters... we're coming for you.

12. Oh oh, is this for which the prisons and pain-rays are prepped?
Thank Goodness Bush/Cheney aren't overseeing this crisis that actually compels protests.

Just too creepy all the laws and presidential orders that are now in place that allow the executive to declare superpowers at his discretion.

That said, people protesting grievances are what get things done, and it's about time for a real change.
