MINEOLA, N.Y. – Bernard Madoff's brother Peter gets access to $10,000 a month for living expenses under an agreement approved Friday in a lawsuit accusing him of swindling a college student.

There's such a big divide between the rich and everyone else in this country. He might not be making millions a year but as a punishment, getting $10000 a month is a pretty good. I wonder how much stolen money I would be awarded with.

Samuels, 22, a student at Brooklyn Law School, contends his late grandfather invested $478,000 in trust fund money with Peter Madoff. After his grandfather's death in 2003, Samuels claims Madoff then invested the money in his brother's company.

DU REALLY needs a grammar checker!

18. Just goes to show you--different strokes for different folks. I think DU needs more posters who

refrain from correcting other posters on issues like spelling and grammar. In my view, those are such silly reasons for trying to make any poster feel bad or "less than."

However, since we did go there this time, "cannery" was a spelling error, or a mistake in word choice. Either way, it was not a grammatical error.

Thanks Pelosi for your one time increase in the minimum wage, it was nothing to sneeze at, a true help, but it's one that needs repeating each and every year.
