2. Sad
gone before his time.

Catholic Boy was a staple on my turntable in the 80's.

R.I.P.

8. I spent a wonderful 2 hours with Jim, once upon a time.
I found myself sitting across the aisle from him on a bus from Santa Rosa to san Fran. A local bus. With a lot of stops. We talked the whole way. I was absolutely gobsmacked to be sitting next to the guy who wrote "All The People Who Died" and he was equally gobsmacked to be talking to one of Sammy Hagar's roadies. We talked about everything, including the song, which fascinated me and still does.

Jim was a wonderful guy. Warm, fiercely intelligent and just a gas. We are poorer for his passing, by orders of celestial magnitude.

11. Sorry to hear that.
Have two of his albums "Catholic Boy" and "Dry Dreams".

Him and Patrick Swayzee passing remind one of their own mortality.
