15 wounded in attack in Turkey
Source: AP

A roadside bomb attack on a police vehicle in Istanbul lightly wounded 15 people on Tuesday, Turkish police and news reports said.

The bomb went off in the Kucukcekmece district, on the outskirts of the city, as the vehicle was passing. Police officers in the vehicle and a number of passers-by were hurt.

You sure don't think much of your fellow DUer's with an attitude like that. We're well aware of the ongoing terrorist attacks against Turkey by the PKK.

that's Ku-chuk-chek-mech-ay. What a mouthful.

I believe is therefore pronounced as follows with the c without the cedille:

ku-chuk-chek-mej-ay

which I think means something like "small pigeonhole"

and note from the wikipedia page that a large amount of the residents here come from Southwest Turkey where the PKK primarily is... So it is likely there's some connection to the PKK...
