MSN InternationalAbuja, Nov 30 (PTI) Nigeria''s graft police has asked officials of Shell and oil service company Halliburton to appear before it for questioning in relation to USD 420 million bribery cases.
The two separate cases were investigated earlier and settled in the United States but the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) spokesman Femi Babafemi said the agency wants to probe it from the oil rich African country''s side of things.
"We invited the chief executives of Shell and Halliburton as part of investigations in two different bribery cases. The USD 240 million bribery case involving Shell has been dealt with in the US and we are investigating the Nigeria angle," Babafemi said.

Last week, ten employees of Halliburton were arrested here were released made to remain in the country in anticipation of more investigations.
Their travel documents were seized by the EFCC.
