Source: BBC

At least six people have been killed and about 36 wounded in an explosion at an internet cafe in China's Guizhou province, state media reports.

The blasts completely destroyed the cafe, which was located under a bridge, and shattered windows on nearby buildings, said Xinhua.

Television footage showed rescue workers picking through the debris of the building in Kaili city.

Officials told Xinhua the cause of the explosion was not yet known.

3. It might be a gas leak, you know.

But if it's a bomb, who would you think?

Bet this is one case where even your self-styled anti-conspiracist crowd will be entertaining the idea of a state-sponsored false-flag attack or ultra-nationalist terror directed against freedom of information.

(It could also be a mob thing.)

5. I would bet on it being a mob thing
If "Internet Cafe" means the same thing in China as it does in the US, it was basically a casino. Organized crime everywhere makes a lot of money from the gambling trade, and they probably saw this place as competition.

4. very sad
:(

I used to live in Guizhou and Kaili is a sleepy town and the capital of a large ethnic minority district. Its a unbelievably beautiful but very poor area. I cant imagine any reason someone would intentionally target it.
