XinhuaTEHRAN, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's parliament decided on Sunday to "cut relations completely" with Britain, local semi-official Fars news agency reported.
Lawmaker Mohammad Karami-Rad told Fars that the members of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission decided in their Sunday meeting to cut the relations completely with Britain and their decision needs to be passed by the parliament.
The commission's decision on cutting relations with Britain will be sent to the parliament for discussion as soon as possible, Karami-Rad was quoted as saying.
Some Iranian foreign policy officials were also present in the meeting, Karami-Rad said.
