APMONTPELIER, Vt. — Vermont Democrats and labor activists are planning to rally Tuesday in Montpelier in support of legislators and others who have been resisting efforts by the governor of Wisconsin to reduce the collective bargaining rights of some public employees there.
Vermont Democratic Party Chairwoman Judy Bevans says she's hoping members of her party in the state, as well as Democrats elsewhere in the country, will show their counterparts in Wisconsin they're not alone as they fight what Bevans calls "one of the worst union-busting bills in modern history."

She's also calling for people to turn out for a noontime rally on the steps of the Statehouse in Montpelier
