Rick Santorum To Glenn Beck: 'There Is No Such Thing As Global Warming,' 'Drill Everywhere'
Source: Huffington Post

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum further expressed his strong convictions on global warming in a recent interview with Fox News' Glenn Beck.

On Thursday's show, when asked about global warming, Santorum told Beck, "There is no such thing as global warming," apparently much to Beck's delight.

Earlier in the month Santorum told Rush Limbaugh that global warming was "junk science."

Questioned about oil by Beck, Santorum boldly stated, "Drill everywhere," and proceeded to declare that there is enough oil, coal and natural gas to last centuries

12. He lost his senate seat '06
But it's a wonder he won two terms in a state that hasn't gone red in a presidential election since '88.

3. I blame the school system for this
Used to be, people this stupid were counseled into agricultural occupations, working on challenging tasks like transferring porcine generated fertilizing agents to botanical food production units.

4. A frothy mix of absurdly wrong & evil right-wing, Inc. BS propaganda lies
Edited on Sun Jun-26-11 02:54 PM by SpiralHawk
Stooopid is not the accurate descriptor, since Santorum is deliberately ignoring facts to tell a blatantly evil right-wing corporate lie.

Hey, you Morons! The US Navy believes in global warming!

Melting Arctic poses new challenges, naval powers say
by Staff Writers
Newport, Rhode Island (AFP) Oct 7, 2009

International piracy and the challenges of new Arctic Ocean corridors opening up as a result of global warming topped the agenda Wednesday at a gathering of world maritime powers.
"The menaces from climate change cause growing concern," warned Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus. "There is a global security implication of the climate change."

"The North West passage will be open most part of the year, the new generation of naval students will live in a different world," he said.

9. Come on down to the Southland, Ricky.
Where you will witness the horror brought about by global warming. Where hundreds have been killed and thousands lost their homes from the violent tornadoes in April. Where the continuing severe drought has caused the state of Alabama to lose it's entire corn crop this year. Where it hit 100 in May this year. Where the sea life, the seashores, fishermen and coastal businesses were decimated by BP last April.

And you might want to ask a scientist about the causes of the disastrous flooding going on in this country right now. Not to mention the worldwide climate changes caused by global warming. Maybe it's "junk" to you but there are millions of people living through Hell right fucking now.

And guess what asshole. Not one person will say "Y'all come back now, y'hear."

It will be more like "Go fuck yourself, you ignorant nut."

20. There actually is enough oil, coal, and gas to last centuries.
Between Fischer-Tropsch, syngas, known coal reserves, synthetic oil from waste, etc, we can come up with enough to last for a while.

The problem is what happens when you burn all of that. The United Kingdom https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Great_Smog">learned the hard way about fueling an entire country with coal and the low-lying nations of the Pacific are learning it another way. China is also http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-world/32-killed-on-chinas-smoghit-roads-20101010-16dwo.html">learning the hard way about air pollution
