3 Czech Hostages Released in Iraq
PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Three Czech reporters missing in Iraq (news - web sites) since the weekend were released by their kidnappers on Friday, the reporters said.

Four Foreign Hostages Released in Iraq

Reporter Michal Kubal, cameraman Petr Klima of Czech Television and Vit Pohanka from Czech Radio had been missing since Sunday after they checked out of their Baghdad hotel, trying to leave for Jordan by taxi.

"We all are in good condition," Pohanka told the Czech radio from the Czech Embassy in Baghdad.

Taking the high ground would have been not taking them hostage to begin with.
