Omaha SEAL killed in Afghanistan

A Navy SEAL and Omaha native was killed in combat Saturday in Afghanistan.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced Sunday that Petty Officer 1st Class Caleb A. Nelson died when the vehicle he was in hit an explosive device in Zabul province.

The 26-year-old father of two graduated SEAL training in 2006 and served with the Naval Special Warfare Unit, based out of Virginia, until his death, Department of Defense Officials said.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, and his parents.

My neighbor is so quiet and polite. They always help when we do installations. These guys are a parodox. All the right to have an ego, but most you meet don't have one. I trained with them and they always kicked my ass.
