Al Franken considering Senate run against Norm Coleman: Minnesota
This is for real. I just read it in the Boston Globe. For those of you not familiar with who Norm Coleman is, he is the Republican who won Paul Wellstone`s U.S. Senate seat. Paul Wellstone along with his wife, Daughter, staff members, died in a plane crash ,along with the plane`s crew just before the last election. A lot of people have serious doubts as to wether it was an accident. Paul Wellstone was a true Peoples` champion. If I`m not mistaken, and someone please correct me if I am, he was the one and only Senator to vote against Bush`s Iraq War Authorization Bill or whatever they called it. Also does anyone know if he voted against that legislative abomination, THE PATRIOT ACT ? Anyway once again AL FRANKEN may be running against Norm Coleman for U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota. Al Franken spent a lot of his childhood in Minnesota including his High School years. Go Al Franken ! !
