Problems mar primary elections across state (Mississippi)
Missing names on ballots, voter confusion and machine malfunctions were among the problems reported in Mississippi primaries Tuesday.

"It's worse than it has been in 10 years," said Claude McInnis, chairman of the Hinds County Democratic Party. "We had redistricting. That made it much more complex. It made it a much more complex election to plan for and teach for."

David Blount, spokesman for Secretary of State Eric Clark, said he is not prepared to go that far but agreed it is a more complicated than usual election.
