"I haven't been accused of being a bully," Klein told the Alberta roundtable on family violence and bullying Friday. "If you're talking about Laurie Blakeman, she is a big girl. She is a big girl and she can defend herself.
Klein took offence to the receipt request, demanding to know whether Blakeman was calling him a liar. It began a testy exchange where Blakeman said she was simply asking for documentation, which is the committee's role, and Klein repeatedly saying, in a belligerent tone, "you don't believe me."
While the government at first said anyone could go and look at its flight records, Infrastructure Minister Ty Lund has decided that all requests must go through access to information ? which costs the person making the application a fee and can take months.
