U.S. Welcomes Creation of New Iraq Gov't (Condi)
``Today's announcement is a positive step for the future of a free Iraq,'' national security adviser Condoleezza Rice told reporters at the White House.

Of the makeup of the new government, Rice said, ``I can tell you firmly and without any contradiction, this is a terrific list and really good government and we're very pleased with the names that emerged.''

Earlier Tuesday, the head of Iraq's Governing Council, Ghazi Mashal Ajil al-Yawer, was named president of the interim government after the Americans' preferred candidate turned down the post.

The selection to the largely ceremonial position broke a deadlock over the makeup of a new Iraqi government set to assume power June 30. The council then decided to dissolve immediately rather than remain in office until the transfer of sovereignty.

1. Skeezer Rice isn't fit to be in the same zip code as Thomas.
Let alone the same room. Rice and the Bush gang belong in jail for crimes perpetrated on the American people and the world.

3. Condi's Credibility
I'd be surprised if Condoleezza has any credibility left after admitting the title of the August 6th PDR. Personally, I never believed her, but some people did. She should have resigned a long time ago.
