DNC Invites Some 'Bloggers' to Convention
These traditionally non-establishment social commentators will be chosen based on their professionalism, the number of readers who check their blog on a regular basis, and how much of their content is original. DNC officials have not determined how many credentials will be issued.

It makes me very sad to have been asking the DU to ban Drudge links for 3 years nows. Making my point of why give him and others liars free advertisement, revenue which is calculated by number of hits, invitations to mainstream TV shows because of higher hit numbers...

hmm--I think Josh Marshall is going, and maybe Atrios. Somebody I read has been talking about getting credentials.

3. The DNC blogger works for the DNC.
I'd say he's a lead-pipe cinch to go. ;)

2. They won't ask Drudge.
Drudge isn't a blog, in the truest sense.

My guess? Atrios, Kos, Jesse from Pandagon (now with Springer). The big boys with the big traffic.

I've been blogging for a few years. My site isn't that big, but i've got a better chance to be invited to the convention than Drudge does.

5. I'd bet on Atrios getting an invite too
I would hope they would also ask Billmon from the Whiskey Bar. I don't think he has quite as high a readership as Atrios, Josh, Kos, Kevin....(who am I missing?) but his blog is one of my favorites. Not to mention that he's one hell of an insightful writer. He could make us all feel as if we'd attended it ourselves!
