Seven killed in massive Russian market blast

Moscow - Two oxygen canisters exploded on Friday in a marketplace in southern Russia killing seven people and injuring 15, according to preliminary reports, the emergencies ministry said.

A ministry spokesperson said the canisters blew up around noon in the market in the city of Samara. The circumstances of the incident were being investigated.

Moscow — Eleven people were killed and 30 were injured Friday when two gas canisters exploded at an outdoor market in central Russia, officials said.
