Swing Voters View Bush Critically, Poll Finds
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/2004/complete/la-060404poll_lat,1,6183660,print.story?coll=la-home-headlines

A crucial slice of the American electorate — potential swing voters in battleground states — views President Bush's performance on Iraq and the economy less favorably than the public at large, according to a poll released today.

Despite that worrisome finding for Bush, the poll by the National Annenberg Election Survey also found that nearly half of those potential voters had no firm opinion of his presumed Democratic challenger, Sen. John F. Kerry of Massachusetts.

The unusual survey underscored strengths and vulnerabilities for both Bush and Kerry among this narrow segment of voters, the main target of tens of millions of dollars in television ads by the two campaigns.

"The data suggests that these people are perhaps more available to Kerry than to Bush, because of their deep antagonism toward the situation in Iraq and their gloominess about the economy," said Adam Clymer, political director of the Annenberg survey.

2. Good news for Dems
If J. Kerry can get the msg out to the Swing Voters of how BushCult is planning on cutting all Social Programs, incl Education, to pay for and funnel more money into Iraq for Haliburton and Bechtel, Kerry will most likely win.

3. a drop in his numbers turns my frown
upside down :D

recent news and attempts to divert attention hasn't done much to boost bush*'s numbers, seems to have had the opposite effect

people keep peeking out from under the flag that bush* inc. has thrown over us for the past couple of weekends and yelling "...wait wait.. I wanna see what's going on...."

This leaves one last tool in bush* inc.'s ARSEnal --- TERRA TERRA TERRA

I've put together a Terra-Scorecard to enable people to predict the next announcement of a terralert.. it's a terra-alert alert

scroll down about mid-way -- feel free to cut/paste and print
http://radicalfringe.freeservers.com/contact.html

card is easy to use -- just check off a box, add up the points
Terralert warning signs:

5 points: Bush's numbers drop
3 points: Scandal dominates the news
2 points: Unfavorable editorials/talkshow interviews
1 point: Major holiday approaching

If the score totals:

1-3 points: low probability of terralert
4-5 points: medium probability of terralert
5-7 points: high probability of terralert
8-10 points: terralert is a "slam dunk"

according to my estimation of the news this past week -- we have a score of 7 - this puts us in the HIGH PROBABILITY of a terralert coming out in the next few days
