Marine Dies After Attack in Western Iraq


CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq - A U.S. Marine assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force has been killed in action in western Iraq (news - web sites), the military said Sunday.





The Marine died Thursday from wounds received in a May 27 patrol and security operation in the Anbar province. The vast border area includes such insurgent strongholds as Fallujah and Ramadi.


The name of the Marine was not released.


More than 800 service members have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq.

Mr. Bush, no matter how hard you try to make yourself the faithful son of Reagan it won't change the fact that we are locked in a war that is making you look more and more like LBJ every day, while your White House operates like Richard Nixon's.

And somehow I don't think Reagan would have gotten us into this clusterfuck to begin with. At least he admitted his error in Lebanon, took his medicine like a man and got us the hell out.
