U.S. Soldier Killed in Mortar Attack in Iraq

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed and another wounded in a mortar attack on their camp near Baghdad on Sunday, the U.S. military said Monday.




It said the soldiers were from the 13th Corps Support Command. Since the invasion of Iraq (news - web sites) last year, at least 604 U.S. soldiers have been killed in action in Iraq.

3. Any one know why Iraq death count site will not come in.?
I go to that every day and have not been able to get it any more.

4. It does appear the
American death toll is no longer a story. My local rag has discontinued its tracking of casualties. I guess if you ignore it it will go away. Outta sight outta mind.
