IWPR's Iraqi Press Monitor is a daily survey of the main stories in Iraq's newspapers. It features the top 7 stories of the day, along with a political cartoon.

Stories are selected and summarised by Ali Mohammed Jawad and Ali Kadhim Marzook in Baghdad. The selections are edited by Eric Watkins.

Monday through to Thursday, the service focuses on key news stories, while on Friday it reviews the leading opinion pieces.

2. So, Iraqi hospitals do not have medical supplies due to theft

I thought the hospitals were not supplied due to corruption on our side by Drug Companies. Looks as if even if we get it right, there are parties on the Iraqi end waiting for their piece of the corruption.

The cartoon of the day on the site is right, Iraq is being picked to the bone by a bunch of crows.
