Twenty-Six Retired Diplomats, Military Leaders Urge Voters to Oust Bush in November

WASHINGTON June 14, 2004 — Angered by Bush administration policies they contend endanger national security, 26 retired U.S. diplomats and military officers are urging Americans to vote President Bush out of office in November.
The group, which calls itself Diplomats and Military Commanders for Change, does not explicitly endorse Democrat John Kerry for president in its campaign, which will start officially Wednesday at a Washington news conference.


"We agreed that we had just lost confidence in the ability of the Bush administration to advocate for American interests or to provide the kind of leadership that we think is essential," said William C. Harrop, the first President Bush's ambassador to Israel, and earlier to four African countries.

It appears that Kerry was right after all. The world does want him to be President.

ive also heard gone are the days when after leaving the military you get college tuition paid and Bush has slashed the VA budget. It seems now, the only benefit of going into the military, is that someday, they might let you out. Bush is treating our military personnel like dirt. I wish more of our congresspeople had the seeds to stand up to Bush. Everyone be ready for Bushs' Draft too. Tell your friends and lets get 18yo's to start voting!!! Its important!!
