Howard case for war 'blown apart'

Mr Howard was a strong advocate for war with Iraq
The Australian Government's case for war in Iraq has been "blown apart" by a report finding no link between Iraq and al-Qaeda, the Labor opposition said.
A US inquiry into the September 11 attacks found "no credible evidence" that Saddam Hussein helped al-Qaeda.

Labor spokesman Kevin Rudd said the findings destroyed the government's claim that the war was part of a wider campaign against global terrorism...

3. So the Aussies state the obvious, yet the American Media still allows

for Bush* to continue the same lies to justify his actions--virtually unchallenged. Why can't our media call a spade a spade? They report the 911 conclusions then they report Bush and Cheney's statements without challenge, as though leaving room for Bush and Cheney to be basing their lies on SOMETHING the rest of us aren't privy to.
