Fahrenheit 9/11 gets help offer from Hezbollah

Meanwhile, in the United Arab Emirates, the film is being offered the kind of support it doesn't need. According to Screen International, the UAE-based distributor Front Row Entertainment has been contacted by organisations related to the Hezbollah in Lebanon with offers of help. All in all, Tony Blair must be relieved that Moore is not going to make a film about him; Moore rebuffed the rumour in a message on his website headlined: "Sorry to scare you, Tony. Michael Moore was just kidding."

2. Why do you think that?
It would seem to me that Fahrenheit 911 will cause more damage than 'The Passion'

8. Right On...We don't need another HOLECOST.....
The truth doesn't do damage....the truth is simply just the truth.... It is not truth to blame the torture of Jesus on the Jews...They were not in charge at the time... the Romans were SO how in h--l can anyone believe that the Jews took over the power of state for only one action and then the Romans took back power.... The idea is simply ludicrous. It is bigotry, nothing more ...... nothing less....MEL GIBSON TOLD AN UNTRUE VERSION.... I don't know why... maybe he is a bigot....maybe it was to please his father who is a well known bigot...

That is not too far fetched when we have just seen a WAR conducted. that the pResident can produce only one VALID reason for....IT is THAT Saddam tried to DIS his father...The WAR HE ORDERED - killed tens of thousands Iraqi's and almost 800 of our active military and our army is still there.....

MAYBE MEL IS AN CRAZY AS W........

9. While I wouldn't use the word, "crazy", you are on to something.
If Gibson was somehow elected president (and he's just as qualified as shrub is), his presidency would probably look a lot like shrub's. And I don't mean that in a nice way.

10. Well, if more people knew where Mel came from ...
His father actually lives just outside Houston and is even more nuts than Mel. He's one of these people that think the Holocaust is all a hoax perpetrated by the Jews and Jew sympathizers.

Mel's film is based more on Sister Anne Catherine Emmerich's anti-Semitic "The Dolorus Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ", based on her "visions" of Christ's suffering. Although the Pope reminds his flock occasionally that Jews were not responsible for the crucifixion of Christ, the Catholic Church is going to beatify Sister Emmerich in October, the first step to being declared a saint.

5. Just what kind of "damage" could F911 cause?
Acknowledge what the rest of the World already knows, that Bush* is a corrupt and incompetent ruler, that his War on Terra is fundamentally flawed by a blind eye to his political connections in the ME, and that the Iraq war was massive mistake which we were manipulated into by a ruthless unthinking uncaring bastard. The messenger never causes the damage, Moore's film isn't responsible for the repercussions of the acts he records, Bush* and his cronies are. The Passion was taken as an indictment of Jews in the ME, and to the extent to which that inflames anti-Semitism it did cause damage. Although, as many have said, it's not like anti-Semitism was hard to find over there before the Passion came out.

11. Good point! I sure wasn't thinking along those lines.
I neglected to think about the indictment of jews in the Middle East aspect. Sorry about that. You are 100% right.

6. maybe the white house will be able to claim hezbollah
has now supported michael moore and they can throw him in the clink for the next 100 years.

then, perhaps, they can say that anyone who buys a ticket to the movie is also supporting hezbollah. therefore, all ticket buyers face the prospect of prosecution under the patriot act.

and, of course, let's not forget the theatre owners. and the television stations that accept advertising for f911.

aw, hell. let's just say anyone who doesn't like bush is a supporter of hezbollah -- except for those who disagree with the war in iraq, who are saddam and osama lovers -- and if they don't shape up they'll get a plunger up their ass in some cia secret prison.

maybe if we suddenly find half the people in the country gone, it won't be the rapture. it'll be w.

7. i have to doubt
this onLy because of the obvious taLking point of michaeL moore + hezboLLah that wiLL no doubt sneak in to most articLes/editoriaLs referring to F911

it's just the kind of Lie i'd expect (in the same vein as "there's some specuLation that aL queda wouLd prefer john kerry to win so that we'LL give up in iraq..") the maggots to permeate into the media.

it's just too easy.
