DiCaprio campaigns for `Fahrenheit 9/11`
Hollywood Heartthrob DiCaprio is such a big fan of Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11 that not only did he fly down to New York for the movie's premiere, but is also urging youngsters to watch the film so that they can form an opinion.

According to The New York Daily News, the otherwsie reclusive star has been garnering a lot of limelight for the film by first attending the L.A. premiere and then going to New York where he also met Moore.

"I think a lot more people who are on the fence about who to vote for will get galvanized after watching the film. Young people didn't vote in the last election, which was the main problem. If you're a young person you've got to get as many people registered to vote, and then get them to vote for their candidate," the report quoted the Titanic star as saying.

DiCaprio who revealed that he will be voting for Democrat candidate John Kerry in the coming elections had also met the Oscar winning director several times during the filming of the documentary.

2. They have no choice
Vote for Kerry or

sit on your lazy ass and Let the CHIMPANZEE WIN

Then you'll meet a nice sergeant like R. Lee Ermey who will teach you how to march and shoot a rifle ---once your same sorry ass is drafted.

LOL

11. Cool. Just curious
So, you have first hand knowledge of what a non-volunteer Army can do to the military as a whole. Don't get me wrong, many draftees served very very bravely, but the bottom line is, you take a military from being one of volunteers to one of non-volunteers and quality and efficiency go down. I wish more people would THINK before they just throw fresh "meat" at the problem in Iraq (and elsewhere.) These assholes would order spare humans like they order spare Abrams parts.

12. My signature line about the unwilling says it all
No one in a professional military (to which, I belonged to once) wants large numbers of pissed off, unmotivated, angry about being there---TROOPS to teach or lead.

That is why to a certain extent the volunteers are pissed off at fighting an oily political war with little public backing. Imagine if you will--- people with my present attitude, drafted to fight the same oily war.

Chaos pure and simple.

Not to discount the public protest soon to come if a draft starts.

All the little DRAFT DODGING CHICKEN HAWK MFs like Cheney's kids will be hung out to dry by people like me.

20. I was already a fan, because of his world-class acting. Now, even more
reason to appreciate him. He's very clearly got it inside as well as outside. A LOT more than you could/can ever say about that recklesss, heartless arrogant know-nothing in OUR White House. GOOD ON YOU, LEO! May LOTS of beautiful girls, fat acting contracts, and at least one Academy Award come your way!

15. Hopefully, he won't encounter the same fate as Jon Bon Jovi
http://www.injersey.com/thnt/story/0,21282,982955,00.html

Musician Jon Bon Jovi says criticism and intimidation won't stop him from speaking out in support of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who raised $1 million at the singer's home last night.

"I've received hate mail at my house. I've had people drive by my home and shout things out," Bon Jovi told guests gathered outside his home along the Navesink River. "And I think that they question my patriotism because I decided to stand up and have a voice. And I stood up to have a voice because I think that's the most American thing that you can do."

More than 300 people attended the fund-raiser, including actors Meg Ryan, James Gandolfini and Steve Buscemi, both of HBO's The Sopranos, and Richard Belzer of NBC's Law and Order: Special Victims Unit...
