Hillary Clinton urges full effort for John Kerry
<COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, in New Jersey on Friday to raise money for local Democratic candidates, urged party members to work vigorously for Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry in the presidential campaign against President Bush.

"I have never felt more strongly in any other election because I cannot imagine what our country would look like under four more years of a Bush administration," the New York Democrat told about 800 party loyalists at a $1,000-a-plate breakfast.

Clinton reminisced about how neighboring Camden was the first stop in her husband's presidential campaign after the 1992 Democratic Convention in New York.

The campaign chose Camden, a troubled city, to demonstrate that America had plenty of problems during the administration of President George H.W. Bush.

Clinton said problems are worsening under the administration of the younger Bush, charging it has because it has ignored its domestic agenda.>

1. This is going to give the conservative pundits a head-ache.
All I hear from them is "Bill and Hillary don't want Kerry to win because that will ruin Hillary's chances in 08". They repeat that garbage ad naseum.

I miss having a President who cared about this country. If anyone can be accused of party before country or political gain at the country's expense, it is all of the conservatives now serving. I don't for one minute believe that the Clinton's would make the country suffer through 4 more years of Bush just for Hillary's benefit. I don't believe it.

3. I do want Hilary in 08.
Although I want Hilary to win in 08, if Kerry wins, that won't happen. But, I would rather have Kerry win and have Hilary never become Pres. than endure another four years under Bush.

5. Me too. I just hate the republican spin on it that's all.
They act as if Hillary's career is more important to her and Bill then the future of our country and I just don't think that is the case.

I hate their spin.

Wasn't he considered the oldest President when he was sworn in?

9. But...but...but...
I heard Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity and Dick "Toesucker" Morris all say that Hitlery and Klintoon were AGAINST Kerry and trying to steal the White House back in 2008!

10. I heard Hillary today...
She was in Philadelphia to do a luncheon fundraiser for Congressman Joe Hoeffel, the Democrat running against Sen. Arlen Specter. She gave a fabulous speech and several times brought the crowd to its feet, saying we had to do everything in our power to elect John Kerry and get the country back on track.

"I don't know about you, but I'm a little tired of Democrats having to come in and clean up the economic mess the Republicans leave behind," she said.

They were passing out buttons that said "Democratic Warrior Women." I snagged one!:dem:

11. To say that the Clintons want Kerry defeated is preposterous!
Bill Clinton, while promoting his book on tour is going to be simultaneously campaigning for Kerry. A Brilliant strategy indeed. And as Hillary has just demonstrated, she is actively raising money for Kerry's campaign.

We can't let RW propagandists get ahead of the Truth. We have to keep fighting and beating them back to their mole holes under a rock. The republican agenda is bankrupting the country economically, environmentally, morally, and needlessly putting our military in harms way for no good reason.

14. I Just Wish Kerry Would Put In Some Effort
The man is as passive as grease on the kitchen floor. This country is ready to go up in flames--will it be Bush's flames of destruction, or a cleansing fire of a routed coup?

And now that McCain is buddy-buddy with Bush, can we stop the inane wishful thinking that McCain gives a damn about America and its people? If you sign up with the GOP, you are part of the problem. If you are still with the GOP, you are a criminal accessory to the crimes.
