Greece gets johns' numbers

Athens - Greek police have seized the telephone numbers of tens of thousands of clients of prostitutes after busting an illegal prostitution ring in Athens, police said on Saturday, less than two months before the start of the Olympic Games.

More than 70 000 telephone numbers of clients had been saved in a computer hard-drive seized in the ring's downtown offices after anti-trafficking and anti-terrorist units stormed the building, police said in a statement.

Two female secretaries handling clients' calls were arrested on the spot. Another Greek was arrested and two others are still on the run, police added.
