Marine killed by hostile fire in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — A U.S. Marine was killed in action in Iraq's Anbar province, the U.S. command said Sunday.

The Marine, who was not identified by name or unit, was killed Saturday, the command said. He was assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.
