7. Glad you're pleased to be with him, Mr. President, but I'd rather you...
...attend a fallen soldier's funeral.
...clean up your administration of bad apples, liars and CIA-leakers.
...delve deeper into a solution for the Iraq mess.
...read a paper.
...talk with the UN to repair the wounds you've caused.
...put together a solid plan to get Osama bin Laden.
...create more jobs.
...think for more than two seconds about errors you've made, apologize for them and make amends.
...try to embrace those who have solid ideas about combating terrorism.
...create a partnership with Islamic leaders in this country to figure out solutions.
...have a press conference with families of our fallen heroes.
...leave my Constitution alone.

Any more?

2. He just lied about Iraq
Bush compared what it was like for girls to grow up under the Taliban, implying that Iraqi women did not have rights. They had full rights under Saddam. Full education, no Islamic laws binding them, and they hels any job that they were qulified for.

The CNN people never correct him on this and they never point this out to the people. I wouold love to have some private time with Wolf Blitzer!

6. This is thanks to our ignorance. I remember I saw on PBS a
documentary way before we made the situation fubar (when we were just isolating Iraq) and they filmed inside the country. WOMEN HAD MORE RIGHTS THERE THAN IN MOST OTHER MUSLIM countries... except perhaps for...LIBYA...and I have met very dynamic women from Jordan (I don't know what happens when they go back, but my sample has been of amazing women) How do you like them apples???

10. Just heard a sound bite on npr
I hate it when he says, "See?" and then follows with some blather that sounds like he's talking to a 5 year old. :grr:

11. I think that's the way his handlers talk to him...
and he's just repeating the soundbits verbatim. I suspect his handlers are getting testy with him, too.
