SARCELLES, FRANCE – On a sunny summer's day in this middle-class suburb north of Paris it is not hard to imagine yourself in Israel: Jewish bookshops and kosher grocery stores line busy streets full of men wearing skullcaps and religious women wearing head scarves. A giant menorah stands atop the synagogue. But Sarcelles has been plunged into the midst of a painful debate about the future of Jews in France as a rising plague of anti-Semitic incidents fuels fears for their safety and prompts a new drive by the Israeli authorities to bring potential citizens to the Jewish state. Some here put on a brave front.

"Jewish life is vibrant in Sarcelles," says Marc Djebali, who heads a federation of local Jewish associations. "We are trying to expand our community center because Jewish life is developing, not slowing down."

Others take a darker, even apocalyptic view, predicting ever more violent conflict with their Muslim neighbors of North African descent.

"There is no future for Jews in France," laments Daniel Haik, one of the syna- gogue's administrators. "We suffered one ethnic cleansing when we were forced to leave Tunisia and we are on the verge of another."

Poll: 64% of Israeli Jews support encouraging Arabs to leave

A University of Haifa poll released Monday reveals that a majority of the Jewish public in Israel - 63.7 percent - believes that the government should encourage Israeli Arabs to emigrate from Israel.

The survey, conducted by the university's National Security Studies Center, also found that 48.6 percent of the Israeli Jews polled said the government was overly sympathetic to the Arab population.

Compared to similar polls conducted in 2001 and 2003, the current survey indicates an increase in the public's extremism.

The majority of Jewish respondents, 55.3 percent, said Israeli Arabs endangered national security, while 45.3 percent of those polled said they supported revoking Israeli Arabs' right to vote and hold political office.

About one-quarter of the Jewish public said they would consider voting for an ultra-nationalist party like the outlawed Kach if such a party was to run in the next elections, the survey revealed.

Two reports from the National Commision on Human Rights that studied French language discussion groups on the internet were made public at a special conference on racism and anti-semitism on the Internet by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) held in Paris on June 16 and 17.

The first report examined more than 1 million posts from among 334 French language discussion groups between 1993 and the first quarter of 2004.

First place among most hated groups went to Arab-Muslins (6,210 posts).

Second place to Jews (4,739 posts).

Then came the Italians (1,720 posts).

The study traced the quality of the evolution of hatred displayed on the most frequented discussion group (fr.soc.politique) in the last three years (including first quarter of 2004). As before, Arab-Muslims were the most hated (accounting for 22%), a group variously confused with Islamist extremists, etc.

Again, second place were the Jews ("Zionists" and "Nazi-Jews" were common epithets, at almost 10%).

Until 2002, immigrants into France held the coveted third-place spot, just behind the Arabs and the Jews. However, since 2002, the third most hated group (immigrants) have been replaced by the Americans (2.33%), who are presented as Nazis, perpetrators of serial genocide and more barbaric than modern dictators. In short, the most dangerous people on the planet!

Also in 2004, xenophobia directed at Brits vies for the fourth place position with anti-black racism.

They also have choice names for Arabs, such as bougnole ("raghead").

Interesting in the second study, they looked at negationnist groups, skinheads, Jewish extremists, and fundamentalist Christians. There's certainly enough hatred out there to spread around.

11. Analyzing an unmoderated Usenet group is the quickest road to insanity

These results are meaningless, anyone who has attempted to engage in the hellhole of unmoderated Usenet groups, especially one with contentious subjects, knows they're the haunt of the troll addict. The troll addicts whole existence is in posting contentious tripe with no substance to see how long the thread will go and what level of animosity and meaninglessness can be achieved. obviously overt racist content is a good way to start a contentious troll - trolls don't always believe what they write, and in fact often don't, their whole goal is to get a rise and create animosity.

Also the number of political spammers, those who continously post hit and run whacko screeds are also common fare.

to be honest the numbers don't seem to be that bad, if there were 1 million posts analyzed and say 25,000 were racist, thats .0025%

It concludes that "any attitude of neutrality on the part of public figures, associations or professions is the equivalent of closing their eyes to the potential criminal acts among psychologically fragile social groups, evolving in a boiling of racist culture fueled on an everyday basis by leading manipulators whose degree of violence is known." (Sorry for quick and dirty translation, but you might get the gist of this.)

Which is why we MUST stick together and defend each other IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. We must do it NOW, before it has a chance to "get to us".

And where do the Jews flee when Imperial Amerika decides to lump us in with other Liberal Enemies of the Imperial Bushevik State?
