According to congressional aides, Leahy said hello to Cheney following the taking of the Senate group photo on the floor of the chamber.

Cheney, who is president of the Senate, then ripped into Leahy for the Democratic senator's criticism this week of alleged war profiteering in Iraq by Halliburton, the oil services company that Cheney once ran.

But most of all I didn't like the fact that after he'd done so that he wanted to act like everything is peaches and cream and I informed him of my view of his conduct."

Wouldn't it be cool to see a 30 second TV spot where somebody talks about "a heartbeat away from the Presidency" in the background, while running a film clip of "the exchange" with a finish shot of Cheney snarling out the "F bomb" just before there'a a shot of (something which causes the viewer to equate anger causing an international incident; don't know what that would be, maybe some clip of Cheney doing the my way or the highway routine, or some cold war movie clip) to an A bomb going off to finish up.

My 19 year old says it is against the law to say fuck you to a police officer? If it's ok for a VP to say it to a Senator why isn't it ok to say it to a cop.
