1. That's 848 too many
Remember, too, that each and every one of those troops left behind somebody who grieved for them. All of those deaths have changed the lives of the ones who loved them forever.

All of this misery can be laid at the feet of G. W. Bush. He has trashed our country, caused us to be more vulnerable to attacks than at any other time in history.

He has caused more damage to our country than a thousand terrorists could do. He is a disgrace, a stain on the soul of America, and must be voted out; we need to get our troops out now, right away, immediately. Too many lives have been lost, too many people maimed, too many tears shed already. Enough.

2. at F9/11 we met a man who's son is a medic in the 1st Marines in
fallujah. After the film, the man was in tears and told my husband the brass is gathering up files of KIA and the numbers are not being reported correctly.

3. Deaths...
Seems like the news always talks about "2 killed" or "5 killed" and "4 wounded".

Do these figures count the wounded people who die at the military hospitals in Germany or the US? I don't see any news accounts about anybody dying after being flown out of Iraq, although I did read one account of how they were shipping unstabilized wounded out so as not to let them die in Iraq.

Also... I remember reading somewhere that deaths in the Special Forces aren't reported.

I can't imagine that an administration as bent as this one would give us the straight numbers.
