Rasmussen Has Kerry Ahead in Florida
I consider Florida a must win state for Bush. If Bush can't carry Ohio, Missouri and Florida, he's cooked. That's my opinion.

The latest Rasmussen numbers are phenomenal for Kerry.

For the two week polling data ending on June 22, Kerry leads Bush in Florida by a 48%-42% margin.

Even more impressive is Kerry's 10 point lead at 54%-44% when leaners are included.

These numbers are available to only premium members, so there is no link. I guess you'll just have to take my word for it.

2. I though JFK would more likely take OH than FLA but it looks
like the opposite. I am impressed. I think Kerry can take PA, WV, MI AND Ohio. All we ask for is a win but an electoral landslide would be so sweet.

In the battleground state polls Kerry is up by at least 10%

8. And those polls were taken before F 9-11 opened! I wonder who
the retreads will nominate.

3. Thanks for posting this!
So much for that Fox poll that has Bush ahead by 9 in Florida. I knew it was bogus because an American Research Group poll done at the same time has Kerry ahead by 6.

4. I think the Fox poll
was conducted to determine how all the Diebold & ES&S machines in the state plan to vote.

5. Don't forget, Fox was in on the fix last time--this year it's their duty
to make it look like it's close so when votes are stolen in close states like FL, Dumbo and his evil henchmen cna point to their polls to justify the "victory."

6. I hope for a landslide for Kerry
and that Kerry's coattails bring in enough Dems so that we can take back Congress.

We need a Dem congress to start undoing the damage that the Repubs have done.

We need a Moore-type movie to show just what the Repubs are doing in Congress

7. You all have forgotten the little ol lady's in W. Palm Beach...
Who, because of a fucked up butterfly ballet voted for buchanan instead of Gore

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2000/11/08/politics/main247897.shtml

Palm Beach County: More than 19,000 ballots were thrown out here, because voters marked more than one choice for president. Voters have complained that they were confused by the "butterfly" design of the ballot, including some Gore voters who now say they inadvertently punched a hole next to Reform Party candidate Pat Buchanan's name.

If these 19,000 votes got counted Gore would be our president now.

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT CHIMPY AND CREW DID EVERY THING THEY COULD NOT TO HAVE THESE VOTES COUNTED.

I wish I could remember how many of these were registered Dem's but I don't.

I do remember Buchanan stating he knew that he got way more votes than he should have.

WE WILL WIN FLORIDA IN NOV 2004 JUST LIKE WE DID IN 2000

12. Exactly. I always ask...
people who think chimpy will win fl.

He lost last time and it took every dirty trick to keep it close.
Do you think he has more supporters than he did in 2000?

Bush has not made any friends among those who didnt vote for him and has alienated some who did.

9. I checked Faux several times today
on each ocassion, they looked at bad numbers, then came up with the following:

a) bill's book bad - that means * numbers are firming
b) monica hate bill - that means * numbers are firming
c) economy bad, but improving - that means * numbers are firming
d) economy good - that means * numbers are firming
e) Kerry swore - that means * numbers are firming
f) Cheney swore - that means * numbers are firming
g) Movie good - that means * numbers are firming
h) Movie bad - that means * numbers are firming

At this rate of increased firmness, Shrub will never need viagra.

10. So How Come Faux Claims Shrub Is Ahead?
The Beltway Bozos keep citing "Faux Opinion Polls" that have Shrub ahead, despite all the polls we see posted here the other way around.

Oh, nevermind.

14. Do you have any
information from this poll regarding Nader's share of the vote in Florida? Are the percentages you cited with or without Nader?

17. Rasmussen never uses Nader
he explains that Nader will not be a factor. However, he does have an "others" category where the respondent volunteers another name. This number is usually 3% or 4% nationally.

You can link on to this site at rasmussenreports.com. Most of the stuff is free and informative. The number for Fla. is 46%-46% on the home page but that number is over one week old. The new numbers that I've posted are "premium".

15. Overall
Only the Harris Poll has Dimbo's numbers at 50% with the other polls being significantly lower.
