Howard Dean Courts Young Democrats (Bush and the race card)
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP)

Howard Dean personally appealed to young Democratic activists to support his campaign for the presidential nomination on Saturday with a stinging attack on President Bush as someone who favored the rich and was fiscally irresponsible. -

Dean took the administration to task for its recent opposition to an affirmative action admissions program at the University of Michigan.

"The word quota is a racially loaded word that is designed to frighten people," Dean said. "This president played the race card and for that alone, he deserves to be sent back to Crawford, Texas."

A call to the White House was not immediately returned to The Associated Press. ---

1. "back to Crawford" ... ah yes
Get em Howard !

George should stop taking advice from his cows that he claims to have converstions with. Maybe try the chickens ... I don't know.

I think this whole Crawford thing is a charade anyway, and he'll bail on Texas just like daddy did, when it no longer serves his political ambition.

2. No other candidate has spoken in person to the YDA?
Meanwhile, ol' Howard is launching a new Web site generationdean.org?

Howard Dean is going to win; this convinces me.

All I want to know is where does he get the energy?

Didn't AP get the message? It's August - everyone's down at the pig farm.
