Registered to vote:

49% for Kerry and 46% for Bush

49% for Kerry, 45% for Bush, and 2% for Nader.

The results presented here are based on 1,100 completed telephone interviews conducted among a nationwide random sample of adults 18 years and older. The interviews were completed July 30 through August 1, 2004. The theoretical margin of error for the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

1. USA Today told me that Kerry was behind and that he had no chance
They had this in big, bold letters on the front page today.

Forget about all of the other polls that show Kerry ahead and gaining more post convention. USA Today/Gallop has the pulse of America firmly under finger.

3. How was the 7/31 weighting for LV in CNN changed between June and
July31

I understand USA Today was continuing the polling over Sat and Sunday - do we have revised numbers?
