*Eugenics Backer Causes Stir in Tenn. Race*
*Eugenics Backer Causes Stir in Tenn. Race*

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Republican congressional candidate James L. Hart acknowledges that he is an "intellectual outlaw."

He is an unapologetic supporter of eugenics, the phony science that resulted in thousands of sterilizations in an attempt to purify the white race. He believes the country will look "like one big Detroit" if it doesn't eliminate welfare and immigration. He believes that if blacks were integrated centuries ago, the automobile never would have been invented.

I remember part of me relished that David Duke was GOP nominee to oppose Sen. Johnston of LA, who otherwise would have been vulnerable. But most of me was horrified that he hot a majority of the white vote.

6. The article mentions...
That he'll give his campaign shpiel as long as "they are white", so, what does he do if the people are amongst the millions of minorities living there? Does he walk away? Attempt to shoot them? Ask them if they know any white folk?

This guy is a walking billboard for "post birth abortion".

7. Tommy Thompson is a great friend of eugenicist Charles (The Bell Curve)
Murray, who Thompson hired when Governor of Wisconsin to "help" with welfare reform-the result was Wisconsin Works/W2, which has been accepted as the federal model for the "end of welfare".

You can take it to the bank-I wonder what their position on the disabled is?

19. That is interesting. Tommy Thompson sounds like a real ass hole
Eugenics was established in this country inthe early 1900's and was a source (reference) for the most destructive use of demographics to ever be. It is a perversion in society .

26. Tommy Thompson hired anthrax suspect numero uno imo Jerome Hauer
from SAIC on 9-10-2001. Immediately after the 9/11 attacks, but before any threat alert of any kind specifically about anthrax, Hauer and Thompson promoted the use of Bayer's (an I.G. Farben spin-off) anthrax antidote Cipro within the administration.

Later, as Thompson bragged about his negotiating skills with the Germans for a 300 million Cipro dose deal, innocent US Postal Service employees were exposed and infected in HOT ZONES!:grr::puke::argh:

And Tommy Thompson was never forthright with anthrax investigators or the People.

Jerome Hauer is in charge of US biodefense.

29. The Nazis tried this first on their
mentally and physically handicapped-people they considered were living "life unworthy of life". Then they decided outright murder was quicker and cheaper! After that, they moved on to the Jews, gypsies, homosexuals...

9. quote

<snip>
"Much of Hart's platform revolves around eugenics, which arose in the early 20th century as a pseudoscientific movement to solve social problems by preventing the "unfit" from having children. It inspired 33 states to pass laws that allowed the sterilization of some 65,000 people, and Nazi Germany used the U.S. examples to justify programs that sterilized and killed millions."

"Hart, a 60-year-old real estate agent, knows his views on eugenics are far from the mainstream and viewed as racist by most people.

He insists his beliefs have nothing to do with racism and everything to do with "favored races" from Europe and Asia and "less-favored races" from Africa. To achieve his goal of a country populated by "favored races," Hart proposes eliminating both welfare and immigration.

"If an individual demonstrates the ability to produce and contribute to society, he or she would be encouraged to have more children. People on welfare would not," Hart said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press."

18. There are more "white" people on welfare
than "black" or "brown" or "yellow" or "red" or "green" or "mauve" people.

Back when the whole deal with Trent Lott praising Strom Thurmond came up, there was an article somewhere -- maybe here on DU, maybe on Buzzflash -- suggesting that we ought to let the pukes just spew their racist vomit, rather than trying to get them to apologize and change their ways. That way they'd show their true colors (or lack thereof, as the case may be) and everyone would see them for what they really are: sick racist nazis.

I was talking to my mom a week or so ago -- she's 75, born and raised republican, solid Dem since Clinton's second term, and loathes boosh. Just despises him, and I've never known her to hate any particular politician. She's just not that political. She said, "I can remember during the war, I was in high school, and I couldn't imagine anyone doing the things we were hearing were going on in Germany and Japan. The concentration camps, the Bataan death march. I never thought I'd see the same things happening here, but I think I am."

16. The great thing about the Republican control...
of America right now is that they feel emboldened to come out and say what they really believe. The more power they get, the more radical they become. It works to our advantage because eventually they will scare the hell out of the moderates in the country and they will end up wide-eyed and wondering where their support went.

20. The RNC will "look like Detroit", too
Although the delegates will be 99.9% white, the people on stage at the Republican National Convention will be an amazingly diverse bunch as they trot out Condi, JC Watts, Alan Keyes and the other half-dozen black Republicans. Or will Faux News colorize the faces in the crowd of delegates to give the illusion of diversity?

He doesn't have much of a chance here, most everyone

Tanner leans right on alot of things anyways, he's
considered one of the "Yellow Dog" democrats.

How can you back eugenics and refer to yourself as an intellectual?

Or call yourself Republican and refer to yourself as an intellectual, for that matter.

The Fourth Reich is coming closer every day.

32. Google.com for "Bush Eugenics" for some interesting
reading.

Prescott Bush was a great friend to the Nazis movement as well as an advocate of the eugenics movement.
Dubya has proposed nationwide mental testing, with the ulterior motive to identify and classify every child, and perhaps every adult, by ranking them for future purposes.
After being in power for years, the Republicans have never really addressed the abortion issue in a meaningful manner, since deep down in that place that no one would really like to know, they actually support abortion for the "lower" classes.
They use it as a "hot button" issue for their constituency and the Religious Right.

He could probably also use a few more marbles.
