4. i think he just claimed to be some type of "associate" of doctors
i think he told the women that he was making appointments ect..then he'd tell them the appointments were postponed...he'd keep this up until it was too late for the woman to legally get the abortion.

12. if he was practicing medicine without a license, yes
If he just tells women to call his number, then, no, there's probably nothing illegal (just really shitty) about that.

to the LIFE inside? OH, I guess that isn't the issue is it... just control over another person's choices!

8. He deliberately listed his center's number in the wrong part of the yellow
pages. If you look at your phone book, there are separate listings for abortion providers and abortion alternatives. I have no problem with people who seek to offer women alternatives to abortion as long as they are up front about their purpose. This guy was being underhanded about it, and I'm surprised that ATT/Ameritech/SBC/whatever-the-hell-phone company publishes directories haven't taken action. They set that policy years ago to prevent people like him from using their publication to hide their purpose.

There are good people on the other side of the issue who truly do want to help women and their families. And if a woman wants to have her baby, but is afraid she can't afford it, they will be there to help her financially. If a young woman is afraid to tell her parents that she is pregnant (but wants to keep her baby) because of their religious beliefs, perhaps people who share those beliefs are the best ones to help her discuss it with her family. But the programs must be honest about their intentions from day one and not advertise falsely to get women in the door, then harrass them about their choice to abort. In a perfect world, the anti-choice people would fund these programs instead of trying to overturn Roe v. Wade.

9. This man is "evil."
He should be forced to pat child support for every child that came into being because of his dirty tricks.

10. also tricking them from getting prenatal care.
Also good to get proper nutrition, rest, stop drinking, stop smoking, little things like that. If you think you are getting an abortion, you do not necessarily treat your body the way it needs to be treated to optimally support a new life.

11. Were all the calls local? A long distance call could be an interstate
crime of some sort - fraud, misrepresentation. I don't know...just asking..

There's got to be something this asshle can be charged with...

Can the victims..and they are victims...sue him in a civil court?

I'd guess that some of the calls WERE interstate b/c MS is so close to New Orleans. Lemme see if i can find links to past articles about this guy. They were more informative than this latest article.

15. The same thing was going on in Louisville Ky
back some years ago. Their women's clinic got shut down because there was no doctor associated with them.

20. An industrious individual can find a lot of information...
about William A. Graham from the court records.

Someone whose really into pranks could have a field day with Mr. Graham, exactly the way he did with those innocent women whose lives he has altered forever.
